    In Memoriam: Sue Garman

    It is with a heavy heart that the passing of our designer Sue Garman. The story is featured in today's blog.

    what a loss to the quilting community and her family and friends. I am so sorry to hear this. Just goes to show how short our lives are. RIP Sue.

      What a sad moment. I have always admired her quilts the current BOM is my first quilt designed by her i am so excited to finish it.

        When she announced on her blog that her lung cancer was inoperable, I was just shocked. Jack, her husband, died in I think September. She said sometimes you pick the black bead. It is my goal to make this the best quilt I have ever done. May God bless you, Sue Garman RIP.

          I agree. I'm slowing down, being more careful, enjoying the process instead of getting it done quickly.
          I have one quilt that I think is my best work so far. Am hoping this is the next one.
