Hi, I have just completed the Ohio Star block and it looks perfect
, I'm so happy . That is because of the easy to understand instructions and wonderful demonstrations by Julie. Anyway I seem to have an extra piece of background fabric cut for this block. Janet's pattern says cut 2 strips 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" which I have sewn to the sides of the Ohio Star. Then to cut 2 strips 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" one strip is sewn to the top of the Ohio Star block but I can't see where the other 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip goes?
I'm so enjoying this pattern.

The pattern should have said to only cut one of the 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" strips. I will see about getting that corrected on the pattern. So sorry.

Thank you for your reply, I was only concerned that I should have put that extra piece somewhere. I am so enjoying your pattern, it's so well written and easy to follow, Julie's demonstrations are making this quilt a joy to complete.
