    bloc-loc rulers

I want to invest in these rulers... can you tell me the sizes and types (HST, flying geeses, blocks, etc) that will be used thru-out the quilt... Thanks Kim in Sydney

    The square Bloc-Loc is the 5 1/2 inch one. The next three are all flying geese 1" x 2", 1.5" x 3", and 2" x 4" all finished sizes.
I took the plunge and purchased them and have been very happy with the results. They have made assembly a breeze, and everything turned out perfectly. Donna

They are for sale as a set in the Shoppe, worth every penny!

Apparently they are out of stock in the TQS Shoppe right now, but you can leave a request to be notified when they are available.

Looks like the Shoppe has just restocked them. There are 51 sets of the flying geese, but they are going fast.

Getting a late start. Will be on Hustle Mode to catch up with all of you. I must say I love the bloc loc ruler set I ordered. I'm flying through my flying geese and they are perfect! Love these!
TIP: Since I loved the way they locked into the seam I decided to alter a small square ruler of mine to square up my HSTs. I took a stack of about 3-4 super sticky post-it notes and placed it carefully along the center diagonal line of the ruler. I trimmed off the excess paper and it works great. Nestles right into the seam and locks it for a perfect trim.

Please post a picture of your modified ruler - this sounds like a great share! Thanks for the tip.

                Here's a pic. I did use 4 sheets of super sticky post-its
Just wanted to add I wouldn't try this for the flying geese ruler though. The block Locs are great!

I went to office supply store yesterday and bought some super sticky post-it notes that now have sticky throughout the entire note except the bottom edge. I think these will work great in this situation and also to mark my fabric for reference (a,b,c etc). I do use post-it's a lot when cutting to write size of strips etc. helps me stay organized

I use the sticky note pads on the bed of my Bernina if I want to stitch more than an inch away from the needle. It helps to have a guide . Nan
