Thanks for the kind words...I really am fine....both physically and mentally.

I just don't have my quilting MoJo back yet...it's actually been AWOL since before my husband died 2 years ago.

But...other than that, I really am "in a good place" in my life right now! Not to worry!!

    Hugs to all.....

Andrée....my colors don't exactly match what Janet or Doris did, but that was a much easier change than what you are doing!
Thanks so much for posting your wonderful instructions!!

Margo, I too wish you well in your recovery and so glad you feel physically and mentally in good shape. Sometimes we just have to reset our priorities but when your mojo comes back it will be with amazing and beautiful results.

Doris, I love your version of the BOM with the yellow background. If you think it's dark and dreary where you are you should come over to Ireland for a while now. Some days it's so dark that we have to have the lights on all day. Like you I find that working with yellow fabric makes me smile. We have to make the sunshine where we can.

Margo, considering what you have been through I am amazed that you got as much done as you did in the last two years. Two versions of last years BOM.....that would be too much for most of us mere mortals. I reckon your quilting sprite is just having a little rest because she is exhausted. Big hugs from the Emerald Isle.

Hugs from Colorado, too, Margo! Just take care of yourself and your mojo will return when the time is right.

Everything you guys are doing is really making me want to make this quilt! Janet is one of my all-time favorite quilters! But I keep letting myself get side-tracked from what I need to do so nothing ends up getting finished. I'm going to try to keep my resolve and not join you, but am very much enjoying everything that you guys are doing! Keep up the good work, and keep sharing for those of us on the sidelines!

Hugs from Denmark, Margo. You look wonderful. I'm sure that some day you find the joy of creating again. Just give yourself time to rest.

I was having a close look at this quilt this morning and it struck me that one could do it in Christmasy fabrics and it would be a really great Christmas quilt. You could change up the flowers in the border to poinsettia, or Christmas lights and the stars are already appropriate. One could leave out the border and it would be a lovely Christmas wall-hanging too. My resolve has slipped.....I can't help it.....I've got to give in and do it. But I am going to try to get one other UFO finished each month too. (Don't hold me to that will you? )

                      P. S. I blame Margo for daring me.

                          Rita,

I think this quilt lends itself to many theme depending on the colors and embellishments (still haven't decide mine - seaside, flying creatures - that's why I haven't put the stars yet) , and I can't wait to see you Christmas version!
