We all know how it can be to mail that quilt to a non-quilter, not knowing how it will be accepted. What she posted to me on Facebook made me happy.

I just did grid quilting and in 2 of the borders I FMQ the baby's name and 'you are loved', plus some musical notes since she is a parttime singer. I used Golden Threads quilting papers.The fabrics are bold for a baby quilt, but the girls today seem to like that.

Carol, what a wonderful thank you. The quilt is beautiful. I love the contrast in colors. Baby should love it. Your quilting is very nice. Beautiful musical notes and staff.
