    Removing Pencil marks from fabric

HELP! I have some #2 lead pencil marks on a light fabric in my quilt.
    How can I remove them???
    Eraser did nothing.
    Appreciate any ideas.

If all else fails, you might want to try using the soft part of a piece of white bread (not the crust) and gently rub on the pencil mark. It's one of the things I learned to do in design classes in Italy (of course, I used it on paper)...but, try it on a piece of scrap fabric first to make sure you get the result you want.
PS I just tried it on a piece of light-colored fabric and it worked for me.

Neat tip Renata - I'll file that away!

Wow! Something I would never have thought would work!
Kind of scary that white wonder bread was all we ate back in the day!
        I will try it.
Reminds me of another trick I heard recently - ivory soap will take out bloodstains on fabric.
