    Betty Jo at Lancaster

BJ has a quilt in AQS Lancaster this year, in the aisle opposite Janet's, just about 20 feet away, but you can't see it without walking down that aisle. Although it didn't win a ribbon (duh, it got IN the show!!!), it is awesome. I am not alone in my opinion. While viewing her quilt, I noticed that both men and women were really attracted to the quilt, which has architectural drawings surrounding a house with the shrubs and flowers in full bloom. Comments ranged from beautiful work, how clever, to "I'm a builder and this is really a creative idea, beautiful work."

Thank you Sue! I had so much fun making this quilt and several of my quilty friends think I should make a series based on blue prints...perhaps not only for houses. I think that is a good idea. I was excited to get in the show,

One of my friends said your quilt reminded her that she and her husband designed and built their home-over 40 years ago. Your quilt brought back all the memories.
