I need to make a pillowcase for a quilt. Do I just make a regular pillowcase or is anyone aware of something special for a quilt? Thanks. -
I just make a regular pillowcase for quilts. If you have coordinating fabric to the quilt that is always a nice touch.

Depending on the purpose of the pillowcase, it could be quilted too, with or without a flange, especially if it's to be mostly decorative like a pillow sham. If it to store the quilt, it could be made like a laundry bag with a drawstring. However, if it's just to hold a pillow to be slept on, then a regular pillow case will do.Comment

Thanks for the responses, ladies. I always like to get input and look to the TQS community for that. The quilt is to be presented to someone later this year and I'm assuming the pillowcase will be used to hold/transport the quilt.Comment
