    Fused binding technique

I just ran across this tutorial by Marti Michell where she uses SoftFuse when attaching her bindings to the quilt.

    http://frommartimichell.blogspot.com...vml-o.html?m=1

It includes some interesting info about SoftFuse that I thought might be helpful since SteamASeam II is no longer available.

See more of Marti's techniques in Episode 504: http://watch/watch-shows/video/show-...-instant-magic

Thanks Margo. Just imagine, no pins! I usually hand sew my binding and always have Band-aids handy. :x I will definitely try this.

Accuquilt appears to have it in stock in cut sheets.

Latest Quilters Newsletter (April/May) has an article by Lori Baker re how to do a striped bias binding using 1/4" fusible web to fuse the the back of the quilt with a the folded edge of the binding then stitch. Sounds like a shopping trip to me!
