    omnigrid yardstick and compass points

I purchased the compass points a while ago thinking I'd get the ruler when I come across it at a show or some quilt shop. Well, I've been looking for it for quite some time and now I am thinking they no longer make the ruler. Does anyone know where to get one? I have found nothing when I google it. Thanks.

Lois, the compass points I have are not by OmniGrid, but they look like the same thing.

I just use mine with any wooden yardstick! I have several, and have even cut one into 12" & 24" to have shorter lengths to work with when necessary.

Thanks, Margo, I'll have to give that a try! I'll scour the cupboards and closets. I might find one right here at home.

Lois, I was shopping today and realized that Omnigrid makes a 1" x 12" ruler that was probably the intended ruler for the yardstick compass points.

A Google search gives lots of places to order/buy one.

I bought that one thinking the same thing and it is too thin nor is it wide enough to be held securely in the slots of the compass point and pencil.

When I use my old wooden yardstick, I just screw the caps snugly into the wood! It works great!
