I just looked it up on the APP Store. It has 7 reviews and all were good. It costs $14.99. Looks like it might have come out in April of this year, maybe. First I heard of it. Thanks.

My name is Betty and I'm an App-aholic. I like the free ones or maybe up to $1.99 but never more than that. I decided my fellow quilters needed me to check out this App. Well, I spent the $14.99 for Quiltgraphy. I think my money was well spent. The traditional block designing is easy to understand and has a guide tour of the buttons to start you off right. The fabric statch can be added to by photographing the fabric you wish to use. Solid to slightly textured fabrics can be made by using the millions of colors avaliable on computers. Fabrics can be placed in blocks and blocks then into several settings with several sashing and cornerstone options. All in all good for traditional quilts.

I love the picture quilt part of the App. Anything you can get into your photo album can be transformed into a square by square digital image. Adjustment for number of blocks horizontaly and vertically is included as is the option for number of colors used in the design. A PDF of the quilt design shows the quilt divide into 5 x 5 blocks to make the whole assembly more managable.
All in all I would say the price of the App is a steal compared to what I have spent on quilt books in the past.
I used this App on my I Pad. Can't say how it would be on a phone. I hope this was helpful to all you other App-aholics.

Thanks for your research, Betty Ann. I'm like you - I like free or $2 - $3 or less. I might consider this one after your review.

I bought it... Still have not yet really played, but the fact that it is so easy to turn pictures into mosaic quilt designs sold me. Spent a week or longer getting the requirements for a simple picture worked out a coupe of years ago... Any app that can do this for me so easily is worth my money.

I would just like to jump in here and thank you, LadyRags. I was wondering where all of the traffic to that post was coming from - I and my little blog both thank you for linking to it.

Sounds like a fun app - all I need now is the ipad to run it on

I got a new smart phone today, but I was not smart enough to get an iphone. I don't know it I can use this app on my phone. It sounds like a great app to me.

It's not listed for android. Someday someone's going to realize there are plenty of phones and tablets out there that aren't iPhones or iPads.

I don't understand how it is different from Electric Quilt. Seems that they have similar features.

Still thinking about it. I am a Mac person so this is very appealing.

What exactly does the app do? Is it applicable to traditional quilt designs as well as art quilts?
