There are a LOT of Nancys on this Web site! Strange since I don't really run into that many Nancys in "real" life. But I'm honored to share a name with all of them!

My first finish for 2013 was not what I expected. I was going to skip January for my Block of the Week, but since we've postponed our move for awhile because we need to be in town most of January, I decided to finish my January blocks. One of them will be available every Monday starting next week. I hope I'm able to keep up for the rest of the weeks. Any ideas of blocks that start with X, Y, and Z? I'm still debating whether to include additional blocks after every number. If I do there are still 31 blocks to go. I will be glad to get these behind me. My other major project for this year is the quilt guild's 2014 raffle quilt. I'm making good progress on it and will have the kits ready for the members next month. Then next year I would like to do my own block of the month. We'll see if that fits into my busy schedule.

Christmas presents. First I have to finish Christmas presents. I started 6 small projects - table runners and wallhangings - and 18 hand embroidered Christmas ornaments Dec 10. I am done except for the quilting on three table runners. I am not allowed to think about starting the BOM until I am done. Just tell me to keep my nose to the grindstone.

Keep your nose to the grindstone Lois I've started telling people they'll get presents when they get them and not necessarily on Christmas. They all smile and say that's fine.

Thanks, Charae. I didn't see any X, but that whirling star kind of looks like an X. I guess I'll just have to get creative.

Other Nancy (in the snow) I love the look of your little quilt that you have made for your sister, it really does look beautiful. That Radience fabric really does sound enticing.

My first finish this year is a ra-ra skirt & bikini top for Isabeau's new 18" doll, Grace, so she can be a Winx club fairy. 8)

My reels have also made an advance. Although I have quite a lot over and above what I ought to have ops: (although there were quite a few extras & narrow ones also sent) This is fortunate as I am wondering whether I will have enough of the background fabric for the job  (at least I have the name of it).

I finished my first project for 2012 - my HST exchange quilt. After the quilt show in February this will hang in my office at work.

Looks great. Really like your setting. Still trying to get my head around mine. It'll come, hopefully sooner than later.

Teresa, beautiful quilt--some of the light colors in it truly make the whole sparkle!
