Lovely stockings, Heather! Now you just have to fill them.

Heather the stockings are great - well done. You are learning fast. And youtube is wonderful for showing how to do things when you are too far away from others who might help.

Cathy, will you post photos of your table runners and candle mats, please? I would love to see them. You don't bring anybody down by mentioning your daughter Betsy. My heart goes out to you, your family and her children and husband this first Christmas. Hugs, Rita.

Lorchen, thanks to the lovely Lego company, filling the stockings is easy for boys --- that part is done Just grateful we bought the little mystery figures in the US where they are $3/ea. (or even $2.50) vs. here in Brazil where they are US $11/each.....!

Rita, youtube is such a great idea; I always forget about it. Although, my sewing/quilting mentor, She-Quilts (Joyce) has made me some videos before on how to do tricky things; that was fun!

Heather--keep trying new things and remember to ask us when you need help. Some of us started out making clothes which would have really helped with your wonderful stockings. Congratulations.

Although the maker of this video used an Accuquilt die, of course, you could use your own pattern. Her technique makes adding a cuff an absolute cinch. And you gave me an excuse to share my stocking completed last night! Yeah for the Grand-dog
