My version of Flat Rita is scheduled to attend the TQS taping on Aug 7, then the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival on Aug 17, so she's pretty busy. She'll be seeing Alex at the taping, but can't promise any pictures since they are busy then. She'll hopefully meet Alex again at the TQS booth at Houston. But you are also welcome to make another Flat Rita for your Needle Arts meeting. You can make your own, like Lorchen, or I'm happy to send you the body and picture I used that you just print out, cut out, paste together and laminate.

Ok, friends, could somebody give me a wee synopsis of how 'flat Rita' came to warrant all this attention? I must have missed something somewhere.................hate to be totally out of the loop!

Geneva, I was thinking, maybe it would be a good idea if Flat Rita came with you to Ireland this Autumn and she could meet up with 3D Rita somewhere along the road?

I'm not sure about this, but after years of watching Dr. Who I'm thinking that if Flat Rita & 3D Rita meet...whoa, the Universe just might explode or something!
            Are there rules here?

Funny you should mention Dr. Who - there was a character in one of the series called 'Rita Connolly'. And it wasn't even me!

Wonder Woman, I love your picture. Now I did NOT know you were a quilter, but when I see you someday at some quilt show I'll know you are a TQS member.

3-D Rita, I like the idea of meeting up with you and flat Rita at the same time! So what if the universe explodes into a fabulous world where quilting rules!!! I will look up my itinerary and let you know to see where we can meet.
