THE Inevitable question... When will series 800 be available

Just because I bought the season does not mean I should not ask this questions... WHEN WILL THE 800 SERIES BE AVAILABLE ON DVD? .

We are working to get faster, but it will take about 2 months to get it authored, the art, reviewing, pressing and shipping. Thank you for the reminder to keep pushing all the players.

I'm not going to say anything.... No, I'm not.... I'll just roll my eyes....

And to distract you all from waiting for "you know what", I'm going to do what old grannies are supposed to do, and talk about my gorgeous little granddaughter who was 1 year old at the end of May and has just started walking. Every time she makes it across the room there is a look of surprise on her face, as if she wants to ask: "Did I really do that?" We also have the very first proper word. Eva's parents started reading to her and looking at picture books with her almost from the day she was born, and I have been very happy to supply more books whenever I see any nice ones anywhere. If Eva wants to look at books, she now points at them, smiles and distinctly says: "Book!".... I wonder how long it would take me to get her to say "Quilt!"??
I hope that this and the picture below have distracted you all a little from "you know what".

She's so cute and that's a really good word for a 1 year old. My youngest DGD turned 2 today. She doesn't feel the need to talk yet, wasn't sure what she was supposed to do with that candle, and didn't seem to have a lot of interest in opening her presents. She does say a few words occasionally, but most of her talking is just jabbering. They finally have a hearing test scheduled so we will soon know if that is the problem. But it could be 6 months before the proper specialist can see her due to budget cuts. Hopefully by then they won't be needed.

Annis, isn't it great that we have such lovely grandchildren! I hope the hearing test gets done soon. two of the teenagers I work with are partially deaf, but manage really well in school.

Sorry, Anna, for hi-jacking your thread.

Your granddaughter is so cute! She has such pretty blue eyes. She could keep you distracted from you know what...not going to mention it...

At least that is far better than the little lad I know who pointedto a corkscrew and said 'Daddy', his other great line was after being asked what he had done that weekend by a babysitter was 'Mummy, Daddy, bang-bang'
Actually he had been to an English Civil War Battle re-enactment and his mother was a musketeer

I guess John is aiming to present us all with a perfect Christmas gift.

John (and team): Take your time, please. Once a series is available to buy, I always get it and then when it arrives here I spend a lot of time watching all the programmes again and no quilting gets done, the intention to become a domestic goddess goes totally out of the window, and I hibernate with the DVDs.

I guess it's also time to comment on the DVDs in general: The quality (and value for money) of every single series has been outstanding. So, John, if you and the team make it to my neck of the woods by tonight....... The drinks are on me!!!

The DVDs are through stage 2 of 4. They now need to be reviewed for errors and then they will correct anything and start to manufacture. My guess is you will be ordering before the end of Sept.
