Does anybody have a good web-based source for "brick and mortar" quilt/patchwork shops in New Zealand? I'll be spending some time in Auckland, Nelson, Westport, Hokitika, Franz Josef, Wanaka & Queenstown (and points in between).

It's a small shop out of town in the countryside. As we were on a coach tour we didn't have our own transport so it was the only quilt shop I got to but the ladies were very friendly and helpful. I hope you have a great time.

Melissa, Check out this book by a Britich author. http://www.gaillawther.co.uk/shop/De...amp;category=7 'Glimpses of new Zealand'. The book is full of photos, and 35 different small wallhangings. I bought it in New Zealand and am making the seascape shown on the left hand side of the front cover. A wonderful memory of our holiday! Amazon.com say it is out of print but Gail still seems to have it available on her website. (She and her husband self publish.)
