What is your experience with Flynn Frame?

I have a FLYNN FRAME I have been hiding in the basement. Frankly I am afraid of the thing I am not mechanically inclined. I have watched the video several times but am still afraid of trying to put one of my quilt tops on it. I do think I have to get myself shorter rails.

IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE USING THE FLYNN FRAME PLEASE POST HERE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU CAN... GOOD , BAD , INDIFFERENT. HINTS TIPS RANT AND RAVES

I don't have a Flynn Frame, but when I'm nervous to try something I will start with a practice piece. Maybe you could find some inexpesive muslin and put together a practice quilt for yourself for the sole purpose of teaching yourself to set up and load the frame and then get used to using it. Tell yourself you are having fun!
    Good luck,
    Cindy

I had a Flynn frame, but not a big enough area to use it easily. You may want to try the shorter poles first, & you need a long table, with your machine set in the center, because you slide that whole frame back & forth, through the bed of your machine. So it does take up a long table space. The frame does just what it says it will, so don't be afraid to play with it. I have no complaints about this frame, my only problem was lack of space. So, if that's not a problem for you, then go for it!
