    Any math whizzes out there who can tell us the formula for how to figure out the size of the original squares needed in comparison with the final block??

        If you use the technique of the video, don't you have bias on all 4 sides of the finished block?

          YES! Because of that, I would never use that technique.

            You are right but I have been making pinwheels this afternoon with it and as long as the fabric is well starched it did not seem to make too much difference. I think this might not be a technique one would use is award winning quilts but when making a fast quilt for kids... it works great.
