    Using Starch when you applique

Does anyone remember the episode where Alex demo'd using spray starch for applique?

Alex demos her spray starch applique method in Episodes 408 (Chapter 2) and 502 (Chapter 1).

Perfect timing of this question, Karen, as I'm trying to figure out what I'm starting with for our new applique group

No, Eileen - it's just a group of my local friends. We are looking into The Applique Society but may just stay more loosely formed.

also - i have taped a whole new class room series on all kinds of applique. John said it will start rolling out in about a week or so - WOO HOO...note to self - was having an allergy attack during the taping so there were definitly some raw moments and lapse of memory....or....

Looking forward to the new applique class Alex! I love your classroom! In fact, I love all the mini-lessons on TQS! I have learned so much from them and it's so easy to squeeze in a session during my busy day! Thanks so much! 8)

Excellent about the new applique class! Yesterday we watched the episode with Elly Sienkiewicz while we were sewing in the afternoon. One of my friends borrowed my DVD's so she can watch it again. Another friend went home with the Series 1 DVD's to watch. I've been trying to tell them about TQS for so long, so maybe I can recruit some more members yet

I have an applique group going locally. We meet once a month and we have a blast. I keep telling them about TQS and they all stare at me with vacant eyes. They do not know what they are missing. I am so happy Alex is teaching applique. Just watched the first 2 segments. Wonderful. Can't wait for the next one.

Have a good applique day everyone!

I belong to The Applique Society (TAS) and we meet once a month at a quilt shop.
