Down 2# this morning. I'm up to a mile on the elliptical and I swam 14 laps on Wednesday. It is making a huge difference in ordinary everyday ways. I can make it from the basement laundry room to the second floor without getting winded. I'm sick of the snow and cold. On days I'm working and can't get to the fitness center I've been walking on the treadmill. As Margo said---BORING. I see the personal trainer on Monday for a fitness evaluation but due to conflicting scedules, I won't get my session to set up an individualized work out program til the end of Feb. Bummer.

I haven't lost any more, but at least I haven't gained. I was out of town last weekend visiting my sister and went to a baby shower for my great niece. Needless to say, I wasn't very good and just haven't gotten back in the swing. Today I had snow ice cream, but the snow is melting so I won't be tempted for that again until the next snow which probably won't happen for several years.

No weight loss for me AGAIN!!!! I went to Curves 2x this past week and walked over 10,000 steps on 4 days with 5000 on the remaining three! Been drinking water instead of diet sodas. So the only thing left has to be my eating!!! So this week I am going to write down everything going into my mouth and MEASURE every thing!!!!! I need to find out what is wrong with my plan.

Well, I have lost another pound! YEA! I really feel like I am getting stronger. I just wish that my figure and the scale would reflect the same thing.
Saw my allergist this week and she recommended a couple of ideas to help with my breathing, congestion, and migraines and it is working! It is SOOOOOOOOO great to wake up and not feel like someone parked a small truck on your face overnight!

I am traveling again and so my exercising is minimal...unless you take mouth muscles into consideration...they have been getting a good workout. No gain for the past 2 weeks and no loss, but I can tell that my getting to Curves again has made a difference in how the jeans fit...yippee!. Back home in 2 days and better healthier eating should help move that needle off the mark it has been glued to lately. 8 lbs altogether is a possitive and I aim for more!

I saw the personal trainer today for my fitness evaluation. I amazed myself. I scored better than 74% of women my age. I need work on body mass (duh) and flexibility. After the eval I swam 20 laps. I am just loving the swimming.

                    I can't believe it's Friday again already!

I lost 1.6 pounds this week, however I credit part of it to a stomach bug, and definitely would not recommend it as a weight loss option!

The bean and kale soup was a good comfort food when I didn't feel good otherwise!

Hope everyone has had a good week...........

Only down a pound this week and unfortunately couldn't get back to the fitness center after Monday. Not going makes me feel like a slug now. I picked up an extra day at work to help out and Wednesday was full of appointments. I did make a point to walk on the treadmill on those days but it doesn't feel the same. Next week should be better.

I'm managing to stay about 4 pounds under what my goal weight was, but some days I still have the urge to eat things that I KNOW will set me back on the wrong path! (Things like gooey desserts and nice salty chips!) I just have to stay out of those aisles at the grocery store.

You and me both, Carol! Out of sight.....out of mind!! It really helps when that stuff is not even in the house!

I am really motivated when I start the week and then it just seems that Life gets in the way during the remainder!!!! I didn't have a great week. Couldn't make it to Curves and didn't get my walks in (by choice...sad to say). My steps were way off too. I need to go back and restate my goals for this week...starting with water. This is a real struggle for me

I have lost another pound. Really was thinking that it would be more, but I think hormones are wonky here at the end of the week.

Have a physical, including submaximal stress test on Tuesday, so I will have confirmation of how out of shape I am. On the plus side, I will at least have accurate information to work with for setting new goals. :?

Had this all typed and the hit something by mistake and erased it all. Maybe it was a subconscious act. You see, I GAINED 8/10 of a pound this week. My internet was out for an entire week. Just got it back today. Apparently, keeping up with my WW points on the computer on a daily basis was doing more good than I realized. I also didn't exercise this week (again). I have just got to make myself do that somehow.
