Hi. I have not read anyones responces yet but I will go back to read them...I just had a thought and I didn't want to loose it...LOL! Someone might have already suggested this.
First off I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers passing.
Now my thought was to turn this quilt into a memory quilt .
In loving memories of your mom. You could have a memory quilt to honor your mom. I think your mom would be happy with this sentiment. Now if this would be an interest to you but you don't feel up to this I would be more then happy to quilt this quilt for you.
((I'm not a professional)) just so ya know. I may not even quilt as well as you do but I do the best that I can do!
Quilting is my favorite part of the process I enjoy it the most.
This offer stands if you are interested.
I don't offer these 'free' deals very often.
Now if you are a professional I would be afraid to attemp this
'just kidding' No I wouldn't I would still do the best that I can.
PS. the quilting pattern would be my call.
If yur interested my email is:

Hi Miles, I'm sorry for the loss of your Mom. It's not been a year yet, so I think you should wait at least that long. I know I was a mess for at least a year after my dad died. I'd think I was doing fine, but the next minute, I'd be a puddle. So I agree with the others about waiting until you know for sure the right thing to do with it. Maybe you'll know next week, but maybe not for three years. But, sooner or later, you will know. It may be that you have to add something of your other designs to the quilt. Your quilts are amazing -- I was just looking at them yesterday and admiring them, but didn't see this forum until today. Best, Robin
