Oh, Mary, I am so sorry to hear this! I will definitely be praying for your sister! How sad that she probably won't be able to go with you to Seattle! Hugs! Dawn -
I'm happy to report that my sister's surgery went well today. The dr. was able to complete the repair without having to introduce any gas bubble into her eye, so there is an outside chance she might be able to go to Seattle - it will depend on her determination and mostly pain tolerance. She's staying with me tonight (her DH was at the hospital when she woke up but they have his 2 young grandchildren living with them, so he took them home to Illinois tonight.) I'll take her back to Madison in the morning for a check by the dr., then home. Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.Comment
