Dear TQS family, Sue and Jack Garman need lots and lots of prayers right now. Those of you who have been doing the BOMs have probably seen the updates on Jack's condition (in Forum, under the BOMs, in the Sue Garman section), but the most recent post from Margo (who is getting this information from a site Sue has through the hospital) indicates that Jack is really suffering right now, so please pray with me for him to get past all this nastiness and to give Sue and Jack and their family the strength to copy with it. Margarita, Praying for a swift recovery for you, and that you'll soon be dancing around your sewing machine !

In all seriousness, my Mom had several joint replacements and she said she wished she hadn't waited so long---how she felt the next day was far better than before.

Praying too for Jack & Sue !

Just saw on facebook that our friend, TQS member, Britt is going to have back surgery. She didn't say when but it sounded like it will be soon. Please pray for her.

Also, with Mother's Day coming, please pray for Beccah. Thank you.

Ritzy, I remember to pray for you and Beccah on a regular basis. This has to have been a hard year for you and all of your family. So just know that I as I say my prayers for Beccah on this unhappy Mother's Day for her, I as a Grandmother know the pain in your heart too. Love and Hugs, Ann

As for me, I am thankful and ask for prayers of thanks, for a year of very good health. I had an iron infusion last September and one last week. Other than my regular hemotology visits, I have not been to a doctor since my physical last July. No flu episodes etc all winter. So PRAISE THE LORD, all is well on the medical front.

We are on the road and have had a couple of "iffy" weather days but with a good driver (dh) we have come through just fine.

So God is Good, All the Time, All the Time, God is Good!!!! Hugs to all, Ann
                Ann,

I normally wouldn't ask for prayers for myself but I'm seeing an orthopedist for my right hip and leg.

Two weeks ago this past Tuesday I had what I thought was a sciatica attack. I have NEVER had pain like this before. The pain has receded somewhat but I have to find out what's going on.

Eileen, I hope all goes well with the orthopedist. Sciatic pain is no fun and especially for a longarm quilter who stands a lot! Prayers for you that you get rid of the pain without too much problem. Keep us posted.

Eileen, I pray for relief from the back pain and for the health care folks to know how to best help you keep it from coming back again.

Ritzy, I pray for you and your Beccah often and have hoped you both have had some comfort in your hearts. Will pray for you both, my DSIL--who lost her daughter, and my girls' birthmothers, as I do each Mother's Day.

Thanks for telling us about Britt. I just can't seem to get onto or into Facebook---then I'd really never get anything done !
