I have always thought I needed the 17" laptop for easy viewing due to getting older(61) ( wear trifocals) and quilting.
True or not? What experience/ guidance can you share before I make the final purchase.
Is it really worth the added cost or shall I just plug it (15")into TV when I want a really big picture?

I take my husband's work laptop to EQ6 class and it's big and REALLY heavy. If you're not planning on carrying it alot, that won't be a problem.
My son has a laptop for college and he plugs it into his TV and loves that. I guess it would depend on how you want to use it.
