    Sharon Schamber network

Those of you that subscribe to Sharon's network, are you going to renew your membership? I was on the monthly payment schedule and I let it go. I got an email the other day that it's time to sign up for 2009. I'm just wondering if it's worth it??

Eileen I get her newsletter too altho I've never had the money to subscribe. I thought they were going to switch to where you could pay per view? But I guess I was dreaming because I quickly went looking for it and didn't see any reference to it. I guess buying the DVDs when I can is the way I'll have to go.

BTW she has a stipple video for free for just 1 month and I watched both parts. I highly recommend going over and watching it before they put it in the premium section.

They are no longer going to have the monthly membership. I have been a member since she started the site and have learned a lot from her but I am going to cancel my membership. I just don't feel that I am getting my money's worth the last couple of months. In fact the last few videos seemed to be repeats to me.

I am going to cancel as well. Way to expensive for my budget right now!

I'm learning way more than I have the time to use and practice right here, so I don't need to subscribe to anything else - just my personal opinion.

I like Sharon's Binding method and sent for the DVD. I think the membership is rather pricey so I go to "you tube" and watch some of her other videos. Nan

Thanks, ladies. You're saying just about what I've been thinking. As much as I like a lot of her methods, I'd rather spend my money here at TQS

I think I will renew my membership for at least one more year. I've learned an incredible amount from the member videos, and have downloaded 21 to my computer--I would hate to have bought them separately on DVDs, would have cost far more than my membership. I just got home from the show tonight. It was just wonderful! I got to meet several of the gang at the TQS booth on Friday and Saturday. Some of them stopped to visit when I was white-gloving by my quilt, too, and even took my picture with my quilt. If you ever get a chance to go to the Houston Show, do it. The quilts get better every year.

                  Pat --

I agree with you. I've learned a lot and look forward to each month. There are some months where I am disappointed, but I would say on the whole, it's been money well spent. I even began dyeing my own fabric and I never would have done that had it not been for Sharon's video.

What a thrill for you to be in the Houston show! Your quilt is beautiful and you should be so proud. I've never been and I'm hoping to go next year.

Sharon's subscription is pricey, but what a wealth of information and experience. I'm debating on whether or not to join myself. It's very tempting.

I have certainly gotten my money's worth out of my subscription and will be renewing at least another year. Some months are less than others, but overall, it has been well worth the price for me. I've downloaded all the patterns and videos so far and done several of the classes. Even though I have a domestic machine, I find her longarm classes are usually helpful there too. I do agree the last few months haven't been as much as the past ones, but I get the sense that it's a temporary thing--that's why I'll renew one more year and see what happens. Cheers.

I too, have gotten my money's worth I think. Especially when I watch Sharon do her LA quilting slow, slow, slow.

Then I watched Philipa Naylor in action - (prize in Houston) and she goes even slower!

Sure does make it OK for me to continue my slow pursuit.
