    Fiber content of fabrics

I recently wrote a blog about fabric and thread because I want to see quilters feel free to use what they want to use and not feel boxed into "rules".
    Cotton, Polyester, SIlk, or Rayon
So far the response has been very positive, except for only one quilter who seemed quite annoyed that I might suggest anything but cotton. It is not my intent to annoy those who prefer natural fibers always. I think they are wonderful and i use them myself. I just want quilters to feel able to use what they want...try something new...understand there are things that need to be done to handle different fabrics. Jerry Granata's TQS show 1503 was particularly good about presenting this concept.

Betty Jo, that same person advises everyone to only use cotton, loudly and often. Don't try to confuse her with the facts. It's rather funny.

Your blog was very informative, thanks for sharing it here.
