Hi
I have been a quilter for at least 30 years but recently I had a quilting accident that I wanted to mention. I was using a rotary cutter that didn't retract automatically. I knocked the cutter off my cutting table and it fell straight down on the top of my foot. I got 6 stitches. Clearly, this seems rare but .... I just wanted to say that I was being careful and I just wanted to warn others. -

What brand of rotary cutter doesn't retract?
A friend of mine used to put pins in her mouth as she was pinning muslins to get the right fit. She no longer does that because one day she sneeze/coughed and managed to inhale some pins!!! She spent time in the ER getting it all fixed.
