Silk is a magical fabric. It's easy to dye and you can get it printed or jacquard or brocade. It shines with brilliance and it's soft and comfortable.
Silk threads are great to use for embroidery too, they shine and look magnificent.
Mug rugger and lounge lizard -
I am a cotton lover and am bit afraid of quilting silk. I find it hard to move around while quilting.
