    Resizing and Outlines

Hi all. When enlarging a design, would you change a single-stitch line to a double-run or triple-stitch line?
Am enlarging an ART file, so stitches recalculate no problem to fill in the satin-stitch areas. But when it comes to single-stitch lines, all it does is add more stitches along the line. As the original design relied on the thickness of the thread to provide the fullness required, a single line is not thick enough. As per the examples attached here, the black outline is now a little off of the contour of the filled-in areas, and the white highlight around the eye I fear will be lost.

Change the line? And if so, would you use double-run or triple-stitch and when? Or, would you always still just leave it as is? Thanks!
