Maggie, that sounds like fun! Maybe TQS will have her on in the future--maybe I should also recommend her to our guild program person, too. I was looking through my fabrics last week and was so surprised to see fabrics that were so old and so "what was I thinking?"--I think if they were cut up into smaller pieces for scrap quilts they would look really good. One thing I noticed is that blues, oranges and most greens really stand the test of time. Judy in Torrance -
Everything Pat does is scrappy. She told us yesterday that when she had to do a quilt to showcase fabric she had designed for Wyndham (sp?), she felt a little intimidated with only having 24 fabrics to choose from! She is used to working with hundreds of different fabrics. Her books and explanations are great! Your guild should try to get her!Comment
