Fabric stash left in the recent death of a quilter

What can I recommend to the widower? Where can he take the fabric where it will get good use?

If she belonged to a quilting group or quilting guild, I would start there. They would recognize the value of the stash. Most guilds do charity quilts as well, so none of it would go to waste.

Quilts of Valor, Church groups, if I knew the area he lives in, I’d be glad to give better suggestions.

Anywhere where they donate quilts .... ...

I have already written a codicil to my will that has my daughter allowing her to have first choice of fabric and notions... then several of my girlfriends then the guilds / sewing bees I belong to ...

More local donation areas in our home town ... I belong to several groups that donate to local fire / police stations and local shelters and charities.
