I sewed facing around the edges of a large wallhanging to finish it rather than binding. The width of the facing on the back is about 1".
When I hung the quilt on a 1" diameter rod (sleeve is 4" wide) the fabric above the rod doesn't stick straight up but almost.
Is this caused because the facing width is too small? Thanks in advance for any help.
