Show 2001: Loopy binding on Carolyn's Red Romance

This will be my first year participating in a TQS BOM. I couldn't wait for the show to air and to get started on the quilt. I watched the show as soon as I woke up this morning. I fell in love with the loopy binding Carolyn put on the Red Romance quilt they showed at time stamp 16:56. I know she said Sue Nickels taught it. And, they called it "loopdedoo". Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to do it?

I am attaching a picture of the close up they showed so you don't have to go back to the show. A week or two ago I noticed Sharon Schamber has a DVD class on doing a corded binding which is similar (http://sharonschamber.com/collections/binding-and-edges-classes/products/corded-binding) But, I would like to know more about how to do the one we saw (only briefly) in show 2001. I spent a few minutes searching online but didn't come up with anything. I was hoping someone on the forum could help!

    Thank you!

Sue Nickels and Pat Holly, in the book "Stitched Raw Edge Applique" published in 2006 have a section on how to do the "Loopy Edge." It is four pages long and detailed with clear instructions and "how to" pictures.
