    Rajah Quilt?

Hi, I'm a relatively new quilter, experienced sewer - and an avid reader. My interest was piqued when I saw today's blog about the Rajah Quilt revisited BOM. I would love to know/read the WHOLE story - and maybe even attempt this BOM, or add it to my list of projects.

Found the book on Amazon, am going to order it. I would love to "attempt" this BOM.

    Thanks,

    Primrose

    Hello Primrose
if you want to "attempt" something you're not certain you can manage - this is certainly the right place to do it.
you will find so much help and information from other people doing the BOM there will always be someone around to give a hint - help to fix a problem or suggest a work-around.
check out the questions/info/banter on the topic that's where you will find most of the extra information you need (and a hefty number of new friends).

i havn't done the bom's because i don't like following instructions and doing things in order - and have a lot of trouble getting the time "every" month - but i've downloaded all the instructions every year and "sneaked" into the forum to follow what's happening every so often - you'll enjoy it!`

i downloaded all the steps so far - and am very much thinking of joining late - doing things a bit my own way - as i very much like how this is coming along

Thanks so much Lotti. I see that you're in Switzerland. I'm in Germany, the Rhine Pflaz region

        Hi Primrose,
I am also planning on doing the Rajah quil - have been since it was announced, just haven't got started yet   If you are interested in making your own version of old quilts I can thoroughly recommend the 1718 quilt, book by Susan Briscoe, as well.
