        Note to everyone,

You can decide if you want horizontal or vertical orientation and put it into your preferences!! Let me know,,,
I am thinking about asking to have all vertical rows because it would totally stretch me in the finishing process,, just a thought at the moment,,,

            Wendy,
Was it was my post about vertical or horizontal that you didn't understand. If yes, I'll explain, if it was about the bog coats, then I won't clutter up everyone's brain with my extra info.

Having been away from the Forum for many months, I think this will be a delightful way to jump back in. I have never completed a Row Quilt myself, though I did start one where the rows were all the same (little houses) except for the fabrics used, so this will be a new experience for me. I love the idea of a Round Robin variation.
I will email my info to Annie Lu shortly. "Thank you" and "I like your posts" to each and every one of you.

Luann I was on topic for once  Am I to assume you want your quilt landscape rather than portrait?

I'm open to either orientation, as I think I could use both !
See how this one was done,

I hope the picture is large enough to see the egret, I actually saw that row yesterday at 'clubhouse'. I love the background with the silhouette of black, it was stunning. The theme for this row by row was "water".

                          Wendy,
I thought so too. And it's a method of using more rows without it becoming a big long strip set.
Also thought that if a person is making blocks that would be joined into the final length, they could just send blocks and I could use them for corners, etc.
I'll probably update that on the first page as I'm so open to the idea,,,

I am going to be a lurker for this fun exchange! My husband has a serious lung issue & is currently scheduled for numerous tests at the University of Michigan over the next few months, about 2 hours from us. I'm not ready to add another commitment right now.

So enjoy and us lurkers will enjoy along with you!

I have been trying to ignore this, but it is calling to me!! Count me in. Theme would be my "3Ss" (Sun, Sand, Salt water!). Colors would be bright and, well, sunny. I don't care if it is once a month or every other month.
