Very nice !..We call 'em Chickadees here..Titmice here are a little plainer.

Tits? I call those chickadees. I am a bird nerd, but you taught me something new! I had to look that one up! They are pretty cute. (The fabric is wonderful, too.). And, Marilyin, I think there is a difference between tits and a titmouse. They are in a complete different section from each other in my bird books.

All the rows and fabrics are such eye candy. I have never seen that particular block, Geneva! Very modern! And there is such a big modern quilt movement going on now. You are so IN!

Dorothy, I should be able to mail your row tomorrow.

It is paper pieced on Stable Stuff, and done really well! Each block has 21 pieces. The snow is a glittery fabric, so I'm thinking Marilyn knows me well! :cheer: I truly love it! It is now hanging on my design wall next to the snowmen that Luann made.

And, it is snowing right now. One of my happy days!

Did you have a picture of the snowman row? I missed it somehow. Anyway, you ladies are doing a great job and I am enjoying the journey with you. Marilyn--I really like the tree pattern.

              Good day, fellow Rowers all:
I am still out here on the river with you, but have been just drifting along instead of paddling. Have you ever heard the phrase "procrastinatory entropy"? I heard it recently in a story by a writer who had been struggling with something commonly called "writer's block". It perfectly describes the state I have found myself in for the past few months and I'm tired of it now. So please give me a "You will do it"! cheer and look for me in your mailboxes in your appointed month (or close to)!
I have been following the postings, and admiring the blocks, rows and fabrics. I received a wonderful piece of Spoonflower print from Luann, and it looks just like it's shown in other pics here. I did thank Luann in a PM, and I should do it publicly too. THANK YOU LUANN.
I wish you all love and light and happy sewing.

Somehow I missed that snowman row, as well. I love trees, especially pine trees and Marilynn's are lovely.

Kathy, Good luck to you. I have a feeling once you get started you'll be feeling better and better.

Loving all you Rowers. Keep up the good work.

                  Kath,
Just yesterday I wrote in my journal,
I'm tired of being tired! So, I've decided to change the wheel I'm on. That's as much humor as I've got going at the moment, but if you start laughing about my lack of a decent sense of humor, that in itself should help you feel energized!

                    I've always called them chickadees.

Hmmmm, in my little world tits are bosoms! Here I was looking at Wendy's new fabric for, well, bosoms! The birds are beautiful and probably much more practical! hmy:

I'm glad you like your row Lotti. I've been on a mission to find 6" blocks and use them. It's turning out to be fun. And I only have to make 6 blocks, so it's not that much work and I'm learning a lot. So, Lotti's row of "flowers" came from the January 2016 American Quilter Magazine. One section of the block looked like a flower to me. (And we all know Lotti takes beautiful pictures of flowers among many other things.) The block was 6" so viola! A row for Lotti. Here's some pictures to describe it.

This is Lotti's block. Can you see the leaves and flowers?

This is the quilt the block is from.

and this is the actual foundation of the block. I photocopied it 6 times for 6 blocks.

I've made 3 rows for certain people B) using the Janome site I shared awhile ago. Again, easy, quick and fun!

I'm so glad Luann started this rowing stuff. I'm having more fun than I expected. Though I understand that sometimes we have "down" periods. That happened to me last fall. I just had to kick myself in the rear and make something, even if it was horrible. So, for those of you that are having a slow period, just get out some fabric, cut it up and sew it back together again. You might just light your creative spirit. If that doesn't work, go eat some chocolate, drink some wine and peruse a quilt magazine or website. And, here's a hug with a pat on the back.

                      Take care, geneva

They were a little more bready/doughy than I remember. Or, maybe I've grown old and they don't excite me like they used to. In any case, here they are...help yourselves!
Actually, it's been a long time since I've made a batch.(other than tonight's) Sometimes, it's the company we share them with that makes them taste better. Like you've got 6 kids back at the house after swim team. Or, maybe

I forgot something as I just made them from 'my head' and not a written recipe. Pretty close, though.

LuAnne, I am not the least bit surprised to hear you are tired. In fact, I am relieved to know it. Your accomplishments are wonderful, but I've wondered if you sleep. I believe that most of us are happiest if we are busy but to tell the truth I've been concerned about your pace. I love high energy but to keep it going rest and peacefulness are required. Please take care of yourself. You've been such a fun addition to the Forum. We all want you to take care of yourself.
