    English paper piecing

I have Sue Daley clamshell paper piecing pack and when I watched her video she was using a glue, I tried this method but every glue I use sticks to the paper permanently. I can't get them out. Please can anyone tell me what glue she may be using. Her papers slip out easily.

at the end of the EP2 video, she shows you how to get the paper out....if it is sticking, take it to the ironing board and steam it.....hope this helps

The glue pen she uses is Sewline. And you can also buy refills as you use up the cartridges. Even using those, she cautions that you use only enough to hold the fabric in place for you to run your basting stitches. I'm working on her Pies and Tarts pattern and it works beautifully. It dries clear and the fabric lifts off the paper easily. I bought both my glue pen and refills at our LQS. If they don't have them, you can find them on line.

Hi Dorothy. Thanks for that. I did watch some videos on YouTube., but she didn't say what the glue was. I have tried 4 so far and every one has stuck permanent. Maria

Thanks Nanapie. I will get hold of some of them. I think the method she uses is great providing you have the right tools. I am in England and there is nowhere around me to get some so I will get them online. Maria
