Wendy I really like both of your quilts. I could cuddle up with either and feel good never mind that they are for babies...you did for a really good job...
      Take care,

What a great selection of baby quilts! Every one so different. I guess I forgot to take a picture of my last finished baby quilt or else it's lost in my camera or on my computer, but here's the before quilting version.

My youngest brother is a first time grandpa to a baby boy born today. I don't have time to make a baby quilt for him so I tried to remember what I have already made in my stash. These were made in 2004 and 2008 and I actually found pictures on my computer in a folder that I moved over from a previous computer. Now to decide which one I want to give away. They were both quilt as you go quilts, nothing fancy, just straight lines, and you can only see the quilting on the back.

My DD will soon be on the road to recovery from her long time illness. Thanks again, Rosemary, for the chicken soup recipe. I made another batch today. Tomorrow she sees a surgeon about getting her gall bladder out. Such a simple solution and no one said a word about it until last week then everything seemed to fall into place. I'm looking forward to getting back to a more normal schedule and I know she is too.

Annis, that is great news about your daughter. I am so relieved. I love your quilts! I vote for the middle one to go to your little grand-nephew. All 3 look very cuddly.

That's because it's slashed! Love them, I could swim in the first one.

So glad there's a solution for your daughter, I hope she's soon well.

Debby, I finally found the photos of your baby quilts and oh my goodness the first one is so cute... The other is precious also. I really like them and I am sure the baby's will also as they grow into their quilts.

Annis I really like your quilts as well. I was sorry to hear that your daughter was ill but I am happy to hear after surgery she will be on the mend. I had my gall bladder out several years ago and the pain I suffered before the surgery was way worse than the surgery itself. Bless her and you.

Annis, your quilts are great, as usual. I like the fishy one. I'm so glad about your daughter, that relief is in sight. And congratulations to your brother on becoming a grandparent. You one smart girl to have baby quilts stashed in your stash. Good idea.

Terrie, the quilts in my stash are either experiments or for patterns that didn't happen. Every now and then I find the perfect home for them. The fish quilt, started in 2008, went to my youngest grandson last year. His room has a sea turtle theme. This year I'm making him a bed size quilt with matching pillow case using sea turtle fabric I found at Houston Quilt Festival last year. The pillowcase and pieced quilt back were finished at day retreat last month. The quilt front has yet to be designed but hope to have it finished before his 2nd b-day In November. They grow up so fast!

Annis your quilts a beautiful (as always). Also pleased that the chicken soup recipe has proved a hit. If you daughter has been suffering from gall stones, she has my full sympathy, I had that problem just prior to getting pregnant, fortunately the surgeon agreed to take it out at 18 weeks - there wouldn't have been room for both of them (the stone & Izzy) in there, come the end of the pregnancy!
