I printed out the Power of 10 sheet while I was working Sunday night. Monday afternoon I made up my list. Worked on #1 for 2 1/2 hr. Tuesday I worked on #2 for 3 hr. Tonight at work I am planning on doing the hand work on the bindings of everything so I will have the first 2 completed! I am already thinking about what to replace them with. I have plenty of projects including 15 quilt tops from my grandmother that need to have borders added and then get quilted!

I am a bit like Ritzy. I've got to do this New Year's thing my own way. But all these suggested ways of approaching the problem of staying on track and being more productive help me figure out my own way. One thing that happens to me often is that when I travel I become inspired to make something reminiscent of the trip and I seldom act on it. Just got back from a trip and vowed this would be different and I actually followed through. My own rule was that I would not allow myself to get stuck somewhere waiting to learn a skill I did not yet have to finish. Here is my "Bird's View of San Diego Marina".

Like Ritzy, I got to do this New Year thing my own way. Must say all the suggestions help me devise what that is. Often when I travel I become inspired to make a small quilt reminiscent of the trip. It seldom happens. I just returned from a trip and made up my mind to do one and not get stuck somewhere waiting for skills to improve or learn a new one necessary for completion. Here is my "Bird's Eye View of San Diego Marina".

Oops! Can't upload that right now. Pict is on my phone and apparently even though my computer has picked it up from photostream it's not yet in a place in my computer where I can access it for posting. This is why I seldom post picts. I'll try later.

Let's see if my computer has gotten all it's molecules in order. This is "A Bird's Eyeview of San Diego Marina". The image was taken from a photo and done with inktense pencils then quilted with black bottom line thread.

Like you I often intend to do it but never get round to it. Well done Lois that seagull will remain with you. You did the boats well. That can't have been easy.

WooHoo Lois--on your perseverance, not only with getting the quilt done but also with getting the picture posted!

Thanks, everyone. Ritzy, you make me laugh. It did take perseverance to get the picture posted. That was harder for me in some ways than the quilt. But I must say, in all fairness, the technical problems were all in my equipment trying to get my devises to co-operate with one another like they are suppose to do.

It's fabulous Lois! You're tweaking my

Wow! Lois, it's wonderful!!! I absolutely love it!! But you've also reminded me that I have designed little quilts to commemorate our Christmas 2013 trip with our DD, DSIL, DGDs, and DSIL's parents ... :S I even have the fabric. Just nothing else has happened with them in a year. Time to get moving ...
