    Quilt Alliance Auction this week

    Those of us who submitted quilts for the 'Inspired By' quilt contest for the Quilt Alliance have been asked to spread the word that the auctions for those quilts are happening now. Mine was the only entry from Ireland and is being auctioneed on eBay this week :cheer: If you would like to see my quilt here's a link:

            It's a beautiful little quilt--I hope it does well at auction. Love how you decided to do the quilting of it! It could not have been easy working on such a small piece.

                    Lovely quilt Rita! Did you foundation piece on fabric or paper?

                    I'm sure it will bring in a good price for the Alliance.

                      The overall size is 16". All the quilts had to be that size. Geneva, I used paper-pieced foundations. Each log is 1/4" finished size. I actually really enjoyed doing it, but oh my there is little room for error when you have that small a margin.

                      Susan Henyon also has a quilt in the auction but I am not sure what her number is. Susan?

                      BTW the theme for next year is 'The Animals We Love'.
