Can anyone remember what show#, who it was and the tip she demonstrated to Ricky where she was sewing seams on hexagonal blocks (not small hexies) and she , I think, made the seam longer then you would normally stop sewing, then the stitches were later easily removed from the end? I tried this and it worked great but want to "refresh" my mind on doing this correctly as I have a UFO to get back to work on and that "tip" was excellent and worked great!

I think it was a Gyleen Fitzgerald Show, possibly the second one. Don't remember the number, but have a play with the shows search engine. -
Thanks Rosemary - you got it - Gyleen Fitzgerald was the one who showed that on show #1403 "Build beautiful Quilts with Butterfly Seams" - an excellent episode with great tips for any find of hexagonal blocks. Now to use her tips and get at my ufo "hex" table topper! :cheer:Comment
