A Round Robin story game...add the next bit

This week, my son, who is a science fiction/fantasy writer, was helping me in my reorganization and looking at things in my studio and he provided me with this sentence starting off a science fiction short story. I thought it was fun. Please add the next sentence or two in the story...keep it fun and (at least mostly) clean :lol: :

Director Victor Gutterman, sipping his Madeira, looked Sulky as he met with his Superiors, Isacord Station Chiefs Coats and Clark.

He watched as Aurafil slowly adjusted her stiletto, moved her seam a quarter of an inch and said "it's the Marcus Brothers"!

They encountered a Storm at Sea and lost the wax. :shock: It's a wonder they didn't dye.

Aurafil managed to stagger into the kitchen and prepare some scrumptious jelly rolls and layer cakes for those who had survived the rotary cutting mayhem.

"Ah, Honey Buns" Coats exclaimed as he came through the door with Clark trailing like a long thin monofilament thread behind him.

"Oh, so it's Honey Buns now", she replied. "At least you are no longer making reference to my Fat Quarters."

[Reetzbobeetz]

"It's hard to believe that these dual-feed-dogs are the Station Chiefs of the SS Isacord" mumbled Gutterman into his rapidly diminishing Madeira.

Chief Coats declared "When we discover where the stash is, Agent Mettler can rip in and retreave the goods! We won't be defeated. We can stack and whack our way through that Drunkard's Path."

[Reetzbobeetz]

"I dunno chief" said Clark, "Those Marcus Brothers are difficult to beat, they are way up there in the stratosphere I think it's gonna take agents Anderson and Timms to bring them down".

"That depends on whether they are prepared to use the old Rayon gun, it should be at the bottom of the cupboard with Terylene."

oh no - not Terylene - that has to be the very last resort

at which point in came Colonel Flannel, "It is plaid to see that we have some fibreist issues which have crepe-ed in."

(The stichuation is getting a bit crepe-y. It's time to call in Miss Jane Marbles and see if she can zentangle some of the clues.

Alas! She is not available because she is too busy finishing her latest mystery quilt. Suddenly, Director Gutterman stumbling along his Drunkard's Path cries out, "it's a BOM!" and sits down to order another red Madeira.
